Sara Rossini
She graduated with highest honors from the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan and perfected her singing skills with soprano Daniela Dessì and Iano Tamar.She was a student at the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala in Milan for the two-year period 2016/2018. She is the winner of the First Prize at the Umberto Giordano International Opera Competition, the FirstPremium overall at the Spiros Argiris International Competition in Sarzana and the “Esordienti” section of the AsLiCo Competition. She made her debut as Mimì in La Bohème at the Linz Landestheater under the baton of Enrico Calesso,Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi at the Comunale di Sassari and at the Sarzana Opera Festival (directed by Leonardo Sini and Valerio Galli) and Sophie in Werther at the Teatro Petruzzelli in Barisotto the baton of Giampaolo Bisanti. She was Contessa in Le Nozze di Figaro at the AllTogether Opera festival in St. Petersburg under the baton of Fabio Mastrangelo, Fiordiligi in Così fantutte at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, while at the Teatro alla Scala we remember her Gretelin Hänsel und Gretel conducted by Marc Albrecht, the role of Biancofiore in Francesca da Rimini byR. Zandonai conducted by Fabio Luisi and Adina in Elisir D’amore in a reduction of the opera with the direction of Grisha Asagaroff.She made her debut at the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples in La Rondine conducted by Juraj Valčuha and reprised at theTeatro Lirico di Cagliari the role of Gretel in Hänsel und Gretel. Recent concert activity includes: soprano soloist in G.Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle with the Teatro alla Scala Chorus, Gala Lirico “Le Promesse” at the New National Theater inTokyo, G.B Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater at the Teatro Alighieri in Ravenna, and the Requiem K626 byW.A. Mozart conducted by Diego Matheuz at the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari.
