The Rector Emeritus of the La Statale University, Prof. Paolo Mantegazza, passed away on 28 August, the age of 92 years. In 2000 – at that time Rector of La Statale – Paolo Mantegazza  founded the Orchestra UniMi. In subsequent years, and until the last months, he continued to help the Orchestra with great and concrete friendship. We remember him – for his help, suggestions and stimulus – with gratitude, estimate and affection. We will dedicate the next concert of 6 October to his memory.
