Closing concert on May 25 with Fogliani and Vacatello at the Conservatory of Milan Sala Verdi

On Tuesday, May 25, at 8:00 p.m., the Orchestra UniMi will close its twenty-first symphonic season at the Sala Verdi of the Milan Conservatory. For the first time on the orchestra’s podium will be Antonino Fogliani, music director of the Rossini in Wildbad festival and principal guest conductor at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf. The program opens with an Italian premiere: Topelius Variations for string orchestra, by Norwegian composer Henning Kraggerud. Afterwards, the acclaimed soloist Mariangela Vacatello will perform Franz Liszt‘s Piano Concerto No. 1 in E-flat Major. Robert Schumann‘s Symphony No. 3 in E-flat Major will close the concert.
