On Tuesday 26 November, the Orchestra UNIMI will perform a chamber concert in the Aula Magna of via Festa del Perdono, conducted by Sebastiano Rolli. The programme will feature the world premiere of Arcangelo Corelli’s Folia in the transcription of the original version for strings by Sylvano Bussotti, in collaboration with the Associazione NoMus. Two Bach Concertos will follow: one for harpsichord and strings in D minor BWV 1052 – soloist Francesco Melani – and one for violin and strings in A minor BWV 1041 – soloist Julian Kainrath. Vivaldi’s Concerto for Strings in D minor RV 129 ‘Madrigalesco’ will close the evening.
