On Tuesday 29 October, the Orchestra UNIMI resumes its 24th season with a chamber concert. Francesco Fanna will conduct a programme entitled ‘Vivaldi’s women: Antonio Vivaldi priest, between the Pio Ospedale della Pietà and the European opera houses’. Women played a central role in the composer’s life, which in the concert will be narrated by Myriam Zerbi’s text, entrusted to the actress Benedetta Borciani. Also performing will be soloists Albertina Del Bo (soprano), Ewa Gubanska and Sofya Yuneeva (mezzo-sopranos), who will embody characters from Vivaldi’s operas, in some of the most beautiful arias composed by Vivaldi . The concert will take place at 8.30 p.m. and will be preceded, at 7.15 p.m., by a conversation between the artists and the journalist Susanna Franchi.
