21 June: Music Day Concert

On Tuesday 21 June, at 8.30 p.m., the Sala Levi of the Polo UniMi in Città Studi (via Valvassori Peroni, 21) will host a concert to mark Music Day. It seemed a joyful occasion for a meeting, in a university venue other than the usual Aula Magna, between the Choir of the University of Milan and the Orchestra, in the formation of String Quintet and Wind Quintet.
The programme includes pieces by Haydn and Ibert for Wind Quintet, Mozart’s famous “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik”, performed by the String Quintet, and pieces by McGlynn and Rheinberger performed by the Choir, also together with the String Quintet, conducted by Marco Berrini.
Booking required from 16 June here.
