Daniel Raiskin conducts saxophonist Simone Moschitz and the Orchestra UniMi

On Tuesday 23 March 2021, in the University of Milan Great Hall, the Orchestra UniMi will held its third concert of the 21st season: Daniel Raiskin, principal conductor of the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra and musical director of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, will be on the podium for the first time, replacing our principal guest conductor Bojan Sudjic, who is unable to travel to Italy due to Covid restrictions.

The concert partially re-proposes the programme canceled in February 2020 due to Covid-19: the Symphony n. 3 by Franz Schubert and Scaramouche by Darius Milhaud, with saxophonist Simone Moschitz (2018 Conservatory Prize and Paolo Mantegazza 2019 Prize). In addition, the Orchestra UniMi will perform Action-Passion-Illusion by Erkki-Sven Tüür.

The concert will be live-streamed at 7 pm on video.unimi.it.
