This year, for the first time, the Orchestra UniMi will be in concert for the MITO SettembreMusica Festival both in Milan and Turin. On the podium, ALESSANDRO CRUDELE; on piano, DAVIDE CABASSI.
The programme is dedicated to “heavenly music”:
Composers have always had a passion for depicting the sky. It is where the spirit dwells, a dancefloor for the clouds, heaven. Here are three awesome interpretations.
AARON JAY KERNIS: Musica Celestis
WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART: Piano Concerto in E flat major K. 449 (author’s version for string orchestra)
EDWARD ELGAR: Serenade for strings op. 20
The Milanese concert will be held on Monday 14 September 2020 at 16:30 at Teatro Dal Verme. Tickets, at a cost of € 5.00, are on sale here.
The Turin concert will be held the following day, Tuesday 15 September, at 4:00 pm in the Hall of the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory. Tickets, always at a cost of € 5.00, are on sale here.
