Next concert of our twentieth season on April 7th

On Tuesday 7th April, at 8.30 pm, at the University of Milan Great Hall, our twentieth season will resume. On the podium, for the first time, the principal conductor of the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra ALFONSO SCARANO, while the violin soloist will be the young winner of the International Mozart Competition 2020, CLARISSA BEVILACQUA.

The programme is a tribute to the late romanticism between past and future: it opens with Illuminating Journey by Thai composer Prangcharoen; continues with the Violin Concerto op. 35 by Tchaikovsky, where moments of great lyricism alternate with enthralling popular quotes; and it ends with Schönberg’s Verklärte Nacht, which represents a link between the music of the nineteenth century and everything that, in the course of the twentieth century, will upset its canons.

To access the concerts you must first register to the 2019/2020 season here. Admission is free, until seats are available.
