On Tuesday 4 May, the Orchestra UniMi resumes its symphonic season with a concert conducted by Ahmed El-Saedi, artistic director of the Cairo Symphony Orchestra. The programme features a world premiere, Facing, composed especially for the occasion by Andrea Benedetto, winner of the 2019 Milan Conservatory Prize. This will be followed by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy‘s Violin Concerto in E minor Op. 64: the soloist is Fabiola Tedesco, one of the most interesting Italian musicians of her generation, winner of the Daniele Gay Prize 2019.
