The Almo Collegio Borromeo, by the express will of Saint Charles and Federico Borromeo, understands music as an important pedagogical element. Since its foundation, one classroom has been dedicated to listening and music education. Today, the Collegio has a choir directed by Maestro Marco Berrini and an orchestra directed by Maestro Denis Zanchetta. Pupils of College Borromeo and students of the University of Pavia can join the two formations, after audition and selection.
