Antonella Bini

Antonella Bini ranges from classical to contemporary playing, even within the same piece, from piccolo to contrabass flute and is the only flutist who is a C.I.M.A. Laureate, a prestigious award within CIMA – International Music Festival – sponsored by HRH Christina of the Netherlands.
She is a stable flutist, as well as a founding member, of “ACHЯOME ensemble” (MI), and since 2014 of “ArtEnsemble” in Berlin and has collaborations with other Italian contemporary music ensembles to her credit.
Her concert activity – as soloist, in duo with pianist Gabriele Rota and in contemporary ensembles – has led her to perform in theatres, festivals and reviews in foreign and Italian cities, collaborating with composers from all over the world today, and she is also the dedicatee of many of their compositions.
Her performances and interviews are broadcast by: RTV SK Radia Devin, Radio Koper, Vatican News, Radio3-Suite, RAI Radio 3 – Piazza Verdi, RADIO CEMAT, radiosART, NoMus-live streaming, Radio Libertà and Radio Alta di Bergamo.
As a flutist, he participated in “MiTo Settembre Musica 2020” with the opera TOCCARE-The white dance – Best Production Award 2020 Danza&Danza, repeated in other theatres in Italy. 
In July 2022, he also performed in concert, as part of the Stockhausen Konzerte und Kursen, the character of Lufa in Reue from Stockhausen’s Freitag aus Licht, in the Sultzhalle in Kürten (D), with the first Italian premiere performance as part of the Festival Music Multiverse in Spilamberto (Mo).
ILLUMINANZ, his first solo CD, for edition zeitklang was rated 5/5 artistically and 4/5 technically by musicvoice magazine; and his performances appear on other CDs, including: SPACE (Spona classics Zagreb) and VITTORIO FELLEGARA CHAMBER WORKS (Vermeer Classics).
A juror in commissions for composition and musical performance competitions in Italy and abroad, she has lectures and masterclasses on contemporary flute techniques for Italian and European Universities and Conservatories to her credit. She is also Maestro Preparatore of the flute section of the “OpenOrchestra” of Imperia.
His essay Sofija Asgatovna Gubajdulina – Eighty Years Dedicated to Music is published as an e-book by the publishing house LeggereLeggere (MI) and his article Sofija Gubaidulina: living in truth and not in error appears in the magazine Poetry and Knowledge (N.3/2018 – Edizioni Progetto Cultura).
His training includes, among others, high-proficiency courses in Italy and abroad in transverse flute, piccolo and contemporary music with: Marasco, Mazzanti, Ancillotti, C. Levine, Pahud, Klemm, Oliva, Kujiken, Damerini and Pestalozza.
She obtained both the 2nd Level Degree in Musical Disciplines – Flute Traverso and the 2nd Level Academic Diploma in Bi.For.Doc for flute traverso with top marks. She also graduated in Conservation of Cultural Heritage – Historical/Artistic Curriculum at the University of Genoa, her hometown.
