After the extraordinary concerts in July at the University Great Hall and during the Estate Sforzesca Festival, and the MITO Festival in September, the Orchestra UniMi is ready to resume the concerts of its twentieth season, postponed due to the sanitary emergency.
The first appointment is set for Saturday 17th October 2020, at 20:30, at the Sala Verdi of the Conservatory of Milan, for the concert originally scheduled for 26 May. ALESSANDRO CRUDELE will be on the podium, while GERHARD OPPITZ returns to the solo piano after a few years.
The program embraces three different periods of the German musical world, from the Piano Concerto No. 5 “Emperor” by BEETHOVEN to the late Romanticism of the Variations on a theme by Haydn by BRAHMS, up to the contemporaneity of Ghost Song by CHRISTIAN JOST (Italian premiere).
