5 May: the American conductor Eugene Tzigane opens our season for Expo in città

Tuesday 5 May, at 9 pm, in the renewed Aula Magna of the State University, which now has acoustics of great quality, the American EUGENE TZIGANE,  for the first time in Milan, will conduct the first concert of the Orchestra UniMi for Expo in città. Looking to the theme Beginning, proposed  for the month of May by the review which wants Milan a place to BE,  the programme will include, as italian premiere, Giro, first symphonic work by the Finnish conductor-composer Esa-Pekka Salonen, Verklaerte Nacht, which represents the beginning of the great musical production of Arnold Schoenberg and the most important of the first  symphonies by Franz Schubert, the Third.
