Bojan Suđić to become Orchestra UniMi Principal Guest Conductor

The Orchestra UniMi has appointed Bojan Suđić as its new principal guest conductor. Maestro Suđić will begin his term during the next season, with a concert on March 5, 2019, and will conduct up to two productions with the orchestra each season.

The decision to create this new position was unanimously made by the management and the artistic direction of the Orchestra UniMi after Suđić’s fabulous debut last March and expecially after the extremely positive reaction of the orchestra musicians.

Orchestra UniMi’s general manager Alfio Bosatra commented:

Maestro Suđić was immediately loved by the orchestra as well as by the audience. He transmited a positive musical energy that created an extraordinary concert. Following which, the orchestra clearly expressed the desire to work soon and regurlarly with him.

Bojan Suđić had already commented after his concert with the Orchestra UniMi:

I was more than happy to discover a music family dedicated to seek and reach all subtle nuances and colors within music text.
With a real enthusiasm and high music skill, UNIMI Symphony Orchestra is the ensemble that brings joy into every rehearsal, and allows conductor to explore much more than expected in today’s hectic world.

Regarding this appointment Maestro Suđić stated:

I am excited by this new opportunity to work with such fine and inspired musicians. Let’s hope that we are going to continue creating excellent and electrifying music events!
